I have been following the newspapers regarding the Vision Schools for a while now and I am still a little confused about the "great idea". I find it so hard to digest the idea that I have come to a point that I can't even stand reading any article on the subject anymore - it gives me constipation.

My simple mind keeps asking me one question: "Shouldn't every single government school in Malaysia be transformed into a Vision School where Malays, Chinese and Indians study together?"

Why do we create schools where Malays and Chinese and Indians study separately and are made to be like enemies of one another? Then we do a little eye wash for the public and foreigners and create a small number of schools for all the races to study together.

What's wrong with us? Why can't the government just ensure that all government schools in the country have a good mix of all the three races and that all programmes in the schools involve all the three races? Like it used to be until about 25 years ago.

No need for all this fuss and eye wash and waste of unlimited public funds.

Someone needs to correct the vision of the government.
