I am certainly glad to realise that apart from Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, there is at least one other Malaysian who recently had a height enhancement experience.

Let's not get into the problem associated with smoking and the health cost as a result. If so, should we also wonder about those fat cats with high cholesterols, fast cars and bikes who land up in hospitals requiring much expenses to be spend on treating their clogged veins and broken bones. And what has the Penang Bridge got to do with the space odyssey? This I fail to see. But that is another story. Let's get back to the space odyssey.

Proud and Taller (PAT, may I call you that?) mentioned that the benefits of the space programme in Malaysia far outweigh the cost and that we will see the results not only in near term but especially long term. He then mentioned about the money cannot buy the sight of glowing eyes of school children as they see the microgravity experiments performed aboard International Space Station. The only other benefit that PAT mentioned is that the RM90 million space odyssey will encourage these children to go into science and technology and will build this nation in the future.

The last time I experienced the sight of glowing eyes of school children was when a van load of books were delivered to my school many years ago and today these school children have turned into doctors, engineers, scientists, etc. As far as I was aware, all those books did not cost RM90 million.

Can PAT please share with us more benefits of the said space odyssey, so that we can share in his height enhancement experience and walk 'proud and taller' like him. This might even prompt me and many others to support the sending of not only the second Bolehnaut but the Nth Bolehnaut at public expense.
