Anti-Zionism not necessarily anti-Semitism
It is useless for Mark Disney to argue with Helen Ang as she cannot distinguish anti-Zionism from anti-Semitism.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's zeal in denying the Holocaust has no agenda other than to gain approval from their Sunni neighbours considering the context of the Middle Eastern political autocracies and corruption. Ahmadinejad wants to wipe out Zionism, not Jews.
No sane practicing Muslims, instilled by the Quran and Prophetic wisdom with ideals of struggle in self-defence and importance to guard the sanctity Al-Aqsa, are ignorant enough to deny the rights of Jews to populate themselves in pre-1948 Palestine as racism is prohibited by Islam.
It is the occupation that Hamas and true Muslims around the world are against, and I am proud that Hamas will not bulge an inch to compromise the sanctity of human rights and rights of worship the pre-1948 Palestinians used to enjoy.
Helen's insistence to accuse Ahmadinejad's anti-Semitism-ness merely by assuming full, unfaltering resistance to Zionist establishment in occupied lands as equal to wiping all Jews from the land is so absurd considering Hamas' disapproval of armed resistence once ownership of Palestinian's homeland and the Al-Aqsa mosque went back to where they belong (as frequently repeated by the late leader of Hamas (May God's blessings and peace be upon him).
Since pictures tell more than thousands of words, Malaysiakini readers should pretty be able to judge who is the bigoted one - Helen or Ahmadinejad - through the front-page picture appeared in the anti-Zionist Jewish website, Naturei Karta .
