We are Indonesian migrant workers

We left our home from far away land

We travel to Malaysia to work

We know hard work is the only way to rebuild our homeland

We are here not by chance

We are here by our only choice

We accept the fate with the little chance

We are thankful for the job of least choice

Not afraid of dirty, dangerous and demeaning work

Not bother by the degrading treatments

We have to be strong and courageous to endure all work

Though we become victims to the MOU spirits of the governments

We are running away for our deliverance

We are running away for our survival

We are the victims of bad labour governance

Our faith is praying and hoping for the justice revival.

Please don't call us Indon

Please don't brand us Pati

The world knows we are victims to human trading don

Our blood and sweat become the trophies in their victory party.

Please don't call us criminals

We do not commit crimes as reporters say

Please do not mix us up with the criminals

Because we are workers as our work permits say

Please accept us as a part of the workforce

As we are equal contributors to the economy

Please treat us without physical force

Adopt us and give us back our dignity in harmony.

It is our wish that no one holds our passport as our master

As no one should trade us as slaves,

Because in God, no one is too big to be a slave master

And no one is too small to be a slave
