I am really appalled that the authorities have given the green light to the Tak Akan Melayu Hilang Di Dunia gathering to take place this Sunday. The event will undoubtedly heighten the already charged racial tension in the country despite claims by the coordinator, Ibrahim Ali, that the gathering will be apolitical.

Please, for once, can all of us stop being racist?
