Ceramah reflects Prims weakness
Prim's 'Future of Indians in BA' ceramah held on Feb 11 at the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall was a miserable failure. Hardly 100 Indians came, and a sizeable number were Keadilan Indians who came to rebut Prim's racist ideology.
The lack of support for Prim proves beyond doubt that race-based politics is no longer valid and is outmoded. It also indicates that Prim's leadership is not credible and lacks the right vision for Indian Malaysians. Most of those who attended the talk expressed disappointment with the agenda, poor turnout and emotional racist thinking.
Indians must get out of this racist mentality trap, which has hindered them from learning from other races. Prim wants to espouse this primitive ideology, and perpetuate the oppression and marginalisation of the Indians.
Keadilan has opened a whole new world for Indians to engage with Malays and Chinese. Indians must cross the great divide and integrate with all races. This will open up their minds and make them competitive and strong.
Multiethnicity is the new spirit of the age in Malaysia. If Indians do not move and adopt this new worldview they will be forever ignorant. Since the Malays have opened up a new paradigm of multiethnic unity, Indians must seize this opportunity and move forward.
