It is not immoral or illogical to grant assistance in the name of affirmative action. The Malaysian experience has an official life history of 25 years counting only the official New Economic Policy. After this considerable period, if there is evidence that the objectives have not met satisfaction, good management would require a reassessment of the campaign.

If we are to plod on with the existing scheme, are we going to look back in the year 2025 and say the new NEP has failed? Do we know or acknowledge what's gone wrong?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But why whip a dead horse?
