Are people confusing independence with neutrality? ([#1] No such thing as 'independent' media [/#], Feb 15).

We each have our own bias - our views, understanding, opinions, are all shaped by our particular experience. It is not possible to escape that. What an independent medium does is provide an alternative view. When we look at things from different perspectives, we can then get a better understanding. This is what malaysiakini does.
