I disagree with Farizacks, who wrote [#1] Ubah corak sebelum pembaca bosan[/#] (Feb 22). If you want to get a balanced bigger picture, you can always supplement your malaysiakini news with those of the pro-government mainstream newspapers. Malaysiakini is trying to expose all the issues that our government finds so convenient to sweep under the carpet or whitewash over.

Don't get me wrong, I love Malaysia, and it will always be my home. However, we cannot improve and develop ourselves as a people and a nation if we maintain this 'see no evil, hear no evil and talk no evil' attitude. It is time for us to grow up. It is time for us to speak up on whatever that is troubling our beloved country.

There are many good things about Malaysia, but it time for us to realise we have problems and issues as well. We must try to correct them, or at least discuss them, instead of ignoring and suppressing them like what our government is prone to do. It is time we act as adults instead behaving like small children hiding under a blanket.
