I just reprimanded my lovely two-year old daughter two days ago for not cleaning up her play area and I felt extremely bad about it especially when she cried. She has been in this world for two years and more.

In retrospect, I think the people who really need reprimanding are the leaders of this country at every level. I have high hopes that my daughter would grow up in a world that is safe, fair and full of opportunities.

However, looking at the current state of our country, I am not so sure if my wish could come true. I write this letter which has a few questions for the King, the leaders and those who hold important positions that would affect this country's future including opposition candidates who could one day be part of the executive.

My intention is to get some clarity so that I could one day explain the whys to my daughter when she is old enough. I would refer to all these leaders as ‘Papa’ since they, like me, influence the life of this country the way that I am influencing my little girl's life and future.

Papa oh Papa , why is there so much violence? I am afraid.

Papa oh Papa , why does the crime rate soar? I am scared.

Papa oh Papa , why is there still the NEP? I feel mistreated.

Papa oh Papa , why does it seem like ‘criminals’ can lie and get off scot-free? Should I lie like them to be happy and free?

Papa oh Papa , why is there so much misuse of public funds and no good management? I feel cheated.

Papa oh Papa , why do many righteous people keep mum? Must I be silent too when I am righteous?

Papa oh Papa , why can we not see the details of agreements made by our government? I feel left out.

Papa oh Papa , why is our executive and judiciary not independent of each other? I feel misjudged.

Papa oh Papa , why are there still so many bus drivers out there who have violated the laws multiple times and still driving? I am REALLY scared NOW!
