In my opinion, it is morally wrong and despicable for anyone to play politics and engage in political polemics to the extent of endangering the God-given life of another human being ([#1] Mahathir and Anwar's true colours [/#], March 28).

Firstly, let me state that I did not support Anwar Ibrahim's politics in the past. But he has been advised by an internationally qualified and competent specialist to seek treatment overseas. Human life is more important than national 'face' and the politics of Barisan Nasional or Barisan Alternatif. Let us just accept and respect life.

Life is given to us by God. We have no right to play the fool with life and anyone who tries to endanger the life of another should be despised as a psychopath.

I sincerely hope my letter will see the light of day. For I am really incensed by the politicking that has gone overboard to the extent of endangering someone's life.

May God and His angels protect Anwar and his family. May God save Malaysia from barbarism.
