Albert Tegap's letter, [#1] All hopes pinned on Kit Siang [/#] (March 28), is a piece of pure DAP propaganda, bordering on personality cult stuff. I think malaysiakini should be more careful in selecting letters for publication.

As a Sarawakian myself, I know that while Lim Kit Siang is well known here, he is not liked by many people, including the Chinese, for his style of politics.

Sarawakians of all races have more respect for Sim Kwang Yang, former DAP MP and now Keadilan adviser. As a Sarawakian all his life, Sim knows our problems much better. We can hold him accountable, too, because he lives in Kuching. To be sure, after the state elections, Kit Siang will go back to Kuala Lumpur for other businesses and issues. He cannot be held accountable for what he says now.
