Yes, five states in opposition, 2/3rds denied but the ruling government will prevail anyhow for now. I spoke to a lot of people and their biggest frustration was not being to vote for obvious reasons. Imagine the results otherwise.

Today, let's look ahead five (5) years. The denial of 2/3rds majority was able to be achieved within what had transpired within the last five months, because of you and me as People Power. The mechanism is set out and that is by voting to voice your dissent. Yes, it is still early for the next round, but all of us should take the trouble to register our right to vote immediately as a citizen. I can't predict how another five (5) years going to be, but I can predict that you will have the ability to make the choice if you decide to register to vote now.

These days, five (5) years passes with an eclipse within a moment. Please take the trouble to spend the few minutes or a few hours or the next five (5) years to register to vote. Don't say five (5) years is a long time, because these days the time passes you before you know it. We, the People Power, don't want to be caught out again as procrastinating has taught us that we could have denied the simple majority this time around if we had been eligible to vote

People Power is you and me and it is everlasting provided that we do what we need to do. Today, we need to take the trouble to register ourselves looking ahead for the next five (5) years irrespective how we feel in five (5) years down the line. Let’s have the opportunity to voice our feelings and thoughts through our votes when the time beckons.

Today, every Malaysian sits down and digests the fact that their preconceived notion has made the impossible, possible. Why? That is People Power. Nothing is going to change if People Power doesn’t decide it. What has happened is just the start, so let's be prepared and start registering ourselves as voters. When the time comes, you, the People Power will decide and dictate the direction of Malaysia.

People Power's activism in registering as voters will only serve our needs. We could have had it in 2008, but it is always better late than never as 2013 is just around the corner. So please go and register yourself as a Malaysian voter as every vote counts and that is how you exercise your choice for the direction of Malaysia.
