I agree with the writer of the letter, [#1] Living in a state of denial [/#] (April 6). We the public are tired of being treated like children. We need full information and we need to be allowed to make our own judgments and decisions.

Why are there always rumours flying around when a crisis hits our land? Its because the public are kept in the dark, giving rise to speculations and rumours.

Give us true, updated information and I guarantee you that rumours and speculations will cease.

Give the people the benefit of the doubt. We are not really stupid people. We can make intelligent decisions.
