The DPM is quite indignant that Time magazine has insulted Islam - and quite rightly so. However, what about other religions that have been insulted in this country? Let me give you a few examples:

1) If you listen to Radio Malaysia, especially the programmes on Islam, you will hear derogatory statements made about other religions and races in this country.

2) Recently, in the RTM1 programme Global , a retired university don made factually incorrect statements about Feng Shui and Christianity. In spite of being corrected by phone-in listeners, he refused to budge and retract his statements! He insulted other religions and races, yet he got away with it!

3) I have seen books in Malay insulting other religions openly on sale in bookshops stocking only Malay books. Perhaps they thought they could get away with it as other races would not enter such a book shop. Well, they are getting away with it.
