As much as I believe in democracy, I would like to applaud the government for using the ISA for the arrest of the reformasi activists.

I believe that if the opposition is sincere in changing the country, they should follow the proper procedure and adhere to the law, that is by going through the elections. One must be patient to achieve one's dream. Look at Anwar Ibrahim's case: If he were patient enough, he would be prime minister by now.

And look at PAS. They can capture Kelantan and Terengganu not because they campaigned on the streets. They were very patiently preparing the younger generations by brain-washing them into believing that whatever Umno does is evil. Even though I might not agree with their brand of politics, it works.

Therefore, I would like to urge Keadilan members to stop going to the streets to achieve your aims. Follow the example of PAS.

I have long followed Dr Chandra Muzaffar, but ever since he associated himself with Keadilan which seems to be condoning street politics, I no longer have any respect for this man.
