Her attitude is reflective of that of many whose eyesight is so short that they can't see beyond their own backyard, or they would have realised the sacrifices reformists are making now are for her benefit, too.

I do not dispute the writers' doubt that Barisan Alternatif might not be better than Barisan Nasional if and when it comes to power, but is there anything worse than the current BN?

BA is not an end in itself, the struggles are for human decency and freedom; if BA should one day became a tyrant, there will be another wave of reform. All for the better.
