I am just a Form 6 student but I think our Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad is a silly man. If he wants to know about how the Chinese or Malays or Indians feel about the government or him, there is a very simple way: Don't restrict press freedom and freedom of speech.

If the newspapers are free to reflect on the mood and feelings of the people, there will be no need for Dr Mahathir to waste money to employ extra staff (like the reported hiring of Chinese aides). Every day, he can just sit down comfortably in his house in Putrajaya to read the newspapers and decide what to do next.

Am I right or wrong? Please tell me.
