The world according to Hollywood

I agree with EW that one suspend one's belief and his brains when he watches a Hollywood movie especially a Bruckheimer movie (' Pearl Harbor and the Bard', June 18).
Hollywood makes movies purely for entertainment and they take a lot of liberties with the facts. This is also true for all the legal and medical dramas on television.
Every studio which makes movies whether in Hollywood, India , Hong Kong or Malaysia is always biased for its own views when making a historical piece.
For the facts, read history books. Unfortunately even history books do not tell the real facts as can be seen by the rewriting of Thai textbooks' description of the Burmese.
