In response to the recent reports on numerous rape and murder cases, Nik Aziz Nik Mat is quick to request the government to adopt what Kelantan had done, that is to separate males from females.

Hasn't this tok guru learnt anything? Look at what happened to a little girl who was was recently raped and killed despite being decently dressed in school uniform and a tudung . The following day, a four-year-old was raped and killed. What is all this telling us? Does Nik Aziz really believe the answer is by simply separating people according to sex?

Instead of solving the Muslim nation's problems such as starvation, poverty and suppression, Nik Aziz is preoccupied with Hudud law. And instead of educating the people as to what is right and wrong, and encourage self-restraint, he created different queues for men and women. Pretty women (in his view should not work), banning of live performance and billboard models in `tudung' are some of the things I can recall him saying.

Has he ever uttered any constructive and practical during the last currency crisis and the recent economic slowdown? More rightly, has PAS offered any constructive opinion to help the nation?
