I refer to the Malaysiakini report MB: Graft cost Selangor RM30 bil

The general perception of Malaysia is that corruption is rampant from top politicians right down to the office boys in the government departments.

On the eve of changing ministerial portfolios, contracts are hurriedly signed to make sure that one would lose out on anything.

Right or wrong, it creates suspicion. It really breaks my heart to hear that Selangor lost RM30 billion to these unscrupulous people.

I wish that the PKR government of other states will expose more of these bad practices.of the BN government.

I salute you Khalid Ibrahim for exposing these misdeeds in the state. You are doing a good job for the people.

Many of us are waiting for you to take these bad hats to task for cheating the people all these years. Malaysia is not all a loss if we have true Malaysians like you.

This is what most Malaysians mean when they are talking about the NEP. For greed and selfishness, these politicians have been sucking the blood of Malaysia while many others remain poor in the rural areas.

Walk around the classy areas where these politicians live and you can see that most of them are living beyond their means. This is why most of them are go for broke to get the right positions during their party’s elections.

Do we have quality leaders who care for the country? There are not many around.

For a while, Malaysians thought that the country would be in good hands with the appointment of Zaid Ibrahim to the cabinet. But Umno doesn’t want transparency. So they threw him out.

With the world economic crises looming over our heads where is Malaysia heading to is anybody`s guess.

Our hope for Malaysia is people power. For once we must forget our colours and party affiliations.

Together, we must join forces to put down these opportunists in our mist. Needless to say, we must do this because we all love Malaysia.
