Imagine there is the equivalent of Umno Youth in Italy right now. What would their reaction be to the prime minister's remarks about the Italian police being more brutal than their Malaysian counterparts?

Would these members converge on the Malaysian embassy in Rome and demand an apology from Dr Mahathir Mohamad?

Would they threaten to burn Malaysian properties, like someone did to the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall? Would they pressure their government to 'buy Malaysian last' as was what happened due to a single word, 'recalcitrant', not too long ago?

Or would their just brush it aside, and say it is just one of those things politicians do to get support and sympathy, knowing that there are bigger domestic problems and that the attention of the people need to be diverted, and a scapegoat is very necessary?
