I am often amused by the reasoning of Barisan Nasional supporters who view the prime minister as some kind of demigod. His latest venture in Uganda is part of his campaign as self-proclaimed champion of the Third World fighting against Western imperialism.

Here is a man who does not even respect his own people, who insists that Malays are ungrateful and somehow inferior in intelligence and ability than other races, who has called Chinese Malaysians traitors and extremists and yet we are expected to believe that he wants to fight for the rights of the Africans.

Here is a man who was victimised by the Apartheid system for decades, shaking the hands of a dictatorial PM who has ruled his country for decades with a form of Apartheid disguised as affirmative action.
