I have read with disappointment the general lack of support for US military action against Osama bin Laden and those who support him. There seems to be a general feel in the Malaysian community that we must be careful in bringing these evil men to trial, with all of the associated proofs and evidence brought forth.

This is ridiculous thinking! We Americans did not have a crime committed upon us, we had a war declared upon us!

If Chinese invaders took over Malaysia, would you not fight back with all of your might? Would you conduct an extended trial of the Chinese government? Or would you fight back? The answer is obvious. You would fight back.

I am keenly aware that there are tens of thousands of Osamas waiting in the wings if Osama is killed. Then I say we continue to go after the tens of thousands! It is in the interest of American peace and world peace for us to do so swiftly and without hesitation.

Will it be a constant, never-ending conflict? Probably. So be it. We Americans must stand up for our sovereignty and protect our families from the barbarians who committed this atrocious act of war, and stand up for liberty.

American freedom was not won by pacifism, it was earned through the shedding of its countrymen's blood. Nor will America's freedom be maintained in the future by pacifism.
