As I was browsing through the Internet for the big news of the day, my eyes were suddenly fixed on one of the headlines that read: US gov't to freeze assets of 27 terrorist organisations in the US.

I ran through the article, and suddenly, a few puzzling questions flashed through my mind: How did the US government know that there are 27 terrorist organisations in the US, at least to date?

Just how did they know that these organisations are terrorist organisations? And how did they know what assets they have in the US? Or did the US government know all along that these organisations were terrorist organisations?

And if they knew, what was the US government doing all these while with them? Isn't it strange that in just a short space of time, the US government already knows so much about these organisations to the extent that they could accurately pinpoint who they.

While these organisations were enjoying the liberty of existing on American soil, just what were they doing in the US? And why did the US government choose to close their eyes on them?

I think there are a lot of puzzling questions that one can ask. The trail of questions could eventually lead us to one clue: Could it be that the US government were using these terrorist organisations for their own gains only to finally discover that they became pawns in their own game?
