I am appalled by the stand taken by the leadership of the DAP towards the mention of the words 'Islamic state'.

How long have these leaders lived in Malaysia?

Whether they like it or not Islam is the dominant religion here. The Malays are not the only race who embraces Islam as there are also Indians, Chinese, Eurasians and even Caucasians who are Muslim.

Why do we need an Islamic state?

Again it is obvious that the DAP leaders have no inkling of what Islam is all about except for the dreaded Hudud laws. They have clearly exhibited their indifference to Islam. Worse still, they just have no respect for Islam and thus the Muslims.

The growing moral degradation among Malaysians, particularly the Muslims, is a strong reason why Islamic laws should be made the main laws of the country. It is first and foremost to check the Muslims who have wavered from the true path and the rest will appreciate how firm and fair Islamic laws are towards everybody.

If the DAP leaders cannot appreciate Muslims for their worth, then it is only fitting that they dissolve the party. To depend only on Chinese and/or Indian votes will get them nowhere. Forget the Malay votes as we now know the kind of ideology DAP practises.
