Many people have cynically suggested that the attack on the New York City's Twin Towers is a retribution against US policies towards the third world countries, especially towards the Muslim countries. No doubt certain policies of the US have been unfair and biased but this does not diminish the fact that the attack was inhumane and brutal, causing the death of innocent people from more than 60 countries.

Some countries which supported anti-terrorist measures have voiced their opposition against military action .The attack by the terrorists has caused havoc to the world economy with a likelihood that it may slide towards a serious recession. Perpetrators of the attack must be hunted down without mercy; if not, we will never be free from the fear of more attacks and our lifestyle will forever be held ransom by these criminals.

Would most of us feel it is safe to fly again if the terrorists are not eliminated?
