In response to Raymond Wong's letter, 'Hunt for terrorists or be held ransom forever' (Oct 6), I would just like to point out that terrorism can never be annihilated as long as there are oppressors amongst men.

Even if the US and its allies have successfully caught Osama bin Laden, it will still not guarantee that our earth will be free from any forms of terrorism.

Stopping oppression will stop terrorism; only then can we all live on this earth happily.
