Isn't it ironical that while we call for the US to stop bombing Afghanistan by the time the holy month of Ramadan starts, we cannot look at our own backyard, and say that likewise, we should not tear down a temple before it is moved.

It is outrageously arrogant to do so, especially so when the nine-day Navaratiri festival is going on. Stupidity or ignorance is no justification.

But there is a thing called natural justice. And sometimes it comes about in indirect or unclear ways. Remember the Bamiyan statues and see the suffering now.
