They should spend more time running the country and less on politicking. The general public is already immune to all these squabbles and will not raise an eyebrow whether Team A or Team B wins."

On the contrary, I'm always delighted to read about faction fighting within the MCA and other Barisan Nasional component parties - the more the merrier, since the more they fight, the better the chances the opposition has of winning - especially if it can present a comprehensive set of alternative policies for governing Malaysia - and not a narrow set of single-issue policies coupled with single-issue shenanigans like our opposition's counterparts in the recent Singapore elections.

Regarding the writer's unfortunate experience with the housing developer, may suggest the writer approach an opposition party on this matter - i.e. either DAP, PAS, PSM or PRM as I would do if I were in the same boat.

Meanwhile, the writer should find out how many housing developers are MCA members, and especially whether the housing developer he or she is directly affected by is an MCA member and then ponder whether it's worthwhile asking MCA for help on this matter.
