I take exception to 'See All' who says that Muslims should emphasise more on spiritual and moral aspects rather than care about the 'halal-ness' of the food that they consume. His argument is based on the stand taken by his Egyptian friend who seems not to mind eating anything. I do not doubt that, as I too have come across Muslims who would consume anything.

But do we use this as a standard, and expect other Muslims to follow, simply because it becomes convenient for people like See All? See All should not trivialise the tenets of other religions, and his last phrase of insinuations would not hold him too dearly to many Muslims.

I suggest he/she look deeper and talk to other Muslims, (other than his Egyptian friend) and find out more about other religions instead of giving his views on subjects that he knows little about. In fact, the very reason that this topic is discussed at all in the first place, is due to lack of understanding and tolerance from people like See All.
