I was reading some of the responses trying to justify Anwar Ibrahim's bid for party-hopping to form the federal government on Sept 16.

Firstly, it is amazing how people can say that Anwar did it 'openly' and asked them to defect out of 'principle'. How naive you must be or incredibly baised.

Anwar clearly stated he had 30 jumpers on Sept 16 and he never talked about wanting snap polls but instead of wanting the federal government to hand power over to him. And how do you know that Anwar never used 'dirty' means to entice defectors?

Are you privy to his meetings with the defectors? Perhaps you should look into his deeds in East Malaysia while he was under the Umno flag to see how he applied to these 'open principles'.

Political leapfrogging is wrong. I agree with this. But no one on PKR's side made any fuss about it when the Bota member of parliament jumped over. They held it in great fanfare and welcomed him right into the party. Now that the same has been done to them, they cry foul?

We all know what BN is like, but PKR was supposed to be a new beginning. Instead of taking their gains and building a strong foundation they decided to showboat and create drama with defections.

Remember, BN lost a lot of votes but not enough for them to lose power. That means not all the rakyat fully trust PKR's leadership ability.

That is why the next four years should have been taken by PKR, not to create instability and drama by instigating protests and talk of toppling the government but to work hard in the states they won to show the change they promised.

To me, PKR has shown that they are the same as BN, politicians who are willing to negate principles for power. The use of pre-signed resignation letters is enough to show that they will play the same undemocratic game as BN.

PKR needs to buck up and stop this political drama nonsense and get back to doing the job they were elected to do.
