I refer to the Malaysiakini report Would you like being called 'celaka Singh'?

With regards to the matter above, here's my two sen worth and challenge to Umno Youth exco member Reezal Merican Naina Merican on Pemuda Umno's fallacious argument for their decision to barge into Parliament:

I quote, ‘The Sikh community would definitely be slighted if Umno Youth was to call veteran DAP stalwart Karpal Singh a celaka (damned) Singh'.’

This statement itself, I fee,l is good enough for Reezal to be arrested under the ISA. He knowingly made a statement which is of racial lines and is meant to incite racial hatred. Why make such a statement when you know it will incite racial uproar? I can only adduce that he is either ill-educated or ill-advised or with ill thoughts

What other reason would someone in such a position make such statements? Rebut me and offer me a better explanation, Reezal. Your compatriots’ action in confronting a parliamentarian in the Parliament is an act which should be condemned by every Malaysian.

I am no law graduate and I received my basic constitution education through ‘Pengajian Am’ in sixth form, but I do know that the Parliament is where law is made and where issues are debated and decided via the democratic action of voting.

Since when were you given the authorithy to confront Karpal Singh and bring up the issue and acclaim that you are representing the Malays? What about the Pakatan Rakyat supporters who actually agree with Karpal?

Thus you could only claim that you represent the UmnoYouth members and not fallaciously claim you represent the Malays. Rebut me for a second time if you could.

Even if you are the largest Malay-based political party, you could - at the most extreme - only say that represent the majority of Malays in the country and even then only those who identify themselves with Umno Youth.

Umno, the full grown-up members have till now kept mum so you could not represent them as they have their own representatives. And even if they agree with your action, you still do not represent all Malays and thus your statement is misconstrued and of fame-seeking.

Even if you do represent the majority of Malays, I do not believe that they agree with your action. Umno Youth’s action was barbaric and the epitome of thuggery.

A more civilised approach would be a letter to seek an apology. However, as the words were uttered in Parliament, and also based on my limited knowledge of the constitution, only the speaker could castigate him.

What happens in Parliament is to be resolved in Parliament and not through your own actions as you wish.

Your actions have brought shame to Umno Youth since you claim to represent them, unless Umno Youth comes out and disciplines you, which I feel would not be forthcoming, reaffirming the ‘black sheep’ tag already associated with UmnoYouth.

I rest my case. Rebut my three points above with non-fallacious arguments if you can.
