Selangor opposition leader Dr Mohd Khir Toyo and his 'property agent' Sekinchan DAP state representative Ng Suee Lim decided to set aside their differences in front of the cameras.

But the ceasefire did not last long.

NONE The duo bumped into one another during recess at the Selangor state legislative assembly sitting this morning.

Shortly after shaking hands, they traded barbs over the widely reported news regarding Khir's palatial home in Section 7 Shah Alam.

Ng had accused Khir of spending beyond his means by building a RM24 million ' Balinese-theme palace '. Khir denied this, claiming that the cost was RM3.5 million .

Following this, Khir jokingly challenged Ng to be his ' property agent ' and sell off the yet-to-be-completed house, to which the latter agreed yesterday.

Today, Ng took the opportunity to demand an official letter that appoints him as an agent, as well as for the keys in order to allow prospective buyers to view the property.

'Unfair conditions'

Khir however shot back that the keys will only be handed when he receives a 10-percent deposit and proof that the buyer is financially sound.

Khir's Umno colleague and Sri Serdang state assemblyperson Satim Diman then joined the fray, calling Ng a busybody for snooping into other people’s homes.

The meeting ended on a sour note when Khir warned: "This time you (Ng) will get it. I will see you in court."

Speaking to reporters later, the DAP representative said Khir's conditions were akin to putting the cart before the horse and that these are unfair.
