JKS: The T4TBH (Truth for Teoh Beng Hock) blog appears to be a professional spin doctor, writing with all the t's crossed and i's dotted when it comes to formatting local names in capitalisation, brackets, abbreviations, ringgit and numbers, properly spelled "cheque" and "totalling" down to the abbreviation "govt", just like a local journalist or editor would do.

T4TBH's blog (admittedly short) contains only one or two obvious grammatical mistakes ("did he stayed") and four spelling mistakes that look like the result of a hurried job (fictitous, rememberance, deceipt, and responsibile). You can check this by cutting and pasting the text into MS Word.

The carelessness with facts (DUN error) only confirms the likelihood that a pro-BN editor is involved. As usual, good lies are built on partial truth. DAP should provide bloggers and the Internet media with detailed data to let them work out how innocent facts may have been distorted.

JTB: Liu and Ean Yong should not loose sleep over the T4TBH blog. I would even advise them not to bother lodging a police report.

We know that our MACC is very efficient to act against the opposition like DAP and PKR. In the event the blogger for T4TBH has the evidence of abuse of power or corruption, we urge him to lodge a police report or even a report to the MACC to investigate his allegations. There was already a challenge by Liu and Ean Yong to do that and if indeed his claims are proven, let them be charged and thrown into jail.

Now against this backdrop, we all know how the police and the MACC work. There are reports to the police and MACC against the former menteri besar Dr Mohd Khir Toyo’s RM3.5 million house in Shah Alam. Look, even Dr Mahathir in his blog refused to believe that the land and building costs RM3.5 million.

Come on, Liu and Ean Yong, you chaps know that if the police and MACC have anything against you, you will be hauled up already before you can finish spelling your name. This time, make sure you bring a parachute and strap it firmly on your back when they interrogate you.

Selangor MB, Khalid encouraged the blogger to come forward to lodge a report against the duo. If if the allegation is found to be true, action will definitely be taken against the two politicians. On the other hand, accusations on the Internet against BN leaders' wrongdoings were often brushed aside by the powers-that-be.

Even though reports were lodged against BN leaders, rarely actions are taken by MACC. If at all it were to investigate, the conclusion is more often than not, ‘no case to answer’. The VIP suspects often emerged from 'questioning' by MACC grinning from ear to ear unlike Teoh who had a tragic end.

Based on the blogger's allegation, I believe MACC will spring into action with zest and urgency even though no report against them was lodged. It could be chance of a lifetime to gain express promotion for the officers involved.

On Najib announces KPIs, lead ministers

Always Malaysian: Prime Minister Najib’s announcement on key performance indicators (KPIs) and the lead ministers for the six national key results areas (KRAs) today is an initial good start. However, there are at least three immediate next steps to take cognisance of:

1. The coverage of KRAs appears to be rather limited; it needs to be expanded to be more meaningful.

2. The appointment of an independent, transparent and professional audit by a panel set up by a special committee in Parliament, which has a meaningful representation from both the ruling coalition and opposition parties. This will enhance credibility in reporting, and pre-empt anticipated accusations of biased or doctored reporting of KPIs.

3. What kind of ‘carrots’ and ‘sticks’ have the government established up front so that everyone will clearly know beforehand and objectively what to expect if they perform well or under-perform? Recognising outstanding performers and punishing under-achievers must not be an after-thought event.

Yes it is.

I despair when our politicians help themselves to the nation’s wealth,

and then rub our noses in with their contempt for us.

I despair when politicians stoke racial flames to be champions of

their own parties.

I despair because I don’t know if there is anything I can do about it.

What can I do? I am only one person.

Mahatma Gandhi was one man. So was Martin Luther King. And so was Nelson Mandela. Maybe one man is all it will take to spark it.
