Unfazed by MCA president Ong Tee Keat's decision to sue him for defamation, Bintulu MP Tiong King Sing continues to dish out more 'dirt'.

Last week, the Sarawak politician claimed that he had donated RM10 million in cash to MCA via its president, which Ong has since denied.

NONE Now the tycoon-turned-politician alleged that Ong has "huge amounts" of cash stowed away in bank accounts belonging to the latter and his wife.

Previously, Tiong had challenged Ong to reveal the details of his bank account to prove he is clean but the president has yet to respond.

"He must explain to the rakyat where all the money came from? I want the (Malaysian) Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate," he said when contacted this afternoon.

However, Tiong said he would not file a report with the MACC over this.

Asked how he became privy to the details of the MCA president's personal bank account, the Barisan Nasional politician said he was tipped off by "someone unhappy with Ong's behaviour."

Tiong also stressed that he would not retract his allegations and is prepared to face the legal consequences .

Stressing that he is not afraid of taking the stand, Tiong added that he would produce a witness to prove that he had given Ong the RM10 million.

Use PKFZ to nail him?

According to Tiong, the MCA president had told another person that he wanted to use the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal to nail him (Tiong). This person later told Tiong about this.

NONE "If Ong dares to deny having said that, I am prepared to reveal the identity of this witness tomorrow," he said.

Contacted later, Ong's political secretary Simon Lim said the minister has to declare his assets on a yearly basis.

Describing the latest bank account allegation as "ridiculous," Lim said his boss would not respond to it.

He said since Ong had lodged a police report, so all quarters should leave the matter to the police to investigate.

Furthermore, he added: "Since the minister said he would sue Tiong, then the court is the best venue to settle the conflict, to prove the right and wrong."

Despite numerous attempts, Ong could not be reached for comment.

Tiong's Kuala Dimensi sues Ong

Meanwhile Tiong's Kuala Dimensi Sdn Bhd today filed a suit against Ong, Port Klang Authority chairperson Lee Hwa Beng and the PKA over the Port Klang Free Trade Zone audit report.

The suit is centred on the abuse of power in public office by Ong, Lee and the PKA for purportedly using their public office to publish the audit report which implicated Kuala Dimensi in the PKFZ scandal.

NONE "Kuala Dimensi claims that by the publication of the report, Ong had acted maliciously and abused his power as the transport minister, with the specific intention of causing injury to Kuala Dimensi," said Kuala Dimensi's CEO Faizal Abdullah ( right ) at a press conference today.

"It is also our contention that Ong had done so with the intention to achieve self-advancement in the public eye," he added.

Faizal also said that the three defendants knew that they had no power to cause the publication of the audit report and that "they were reckless in doing so".

The suit was filed at the Kuala Lumpur High Court this morning.
