'BN, bring on fresh elections'
'By all means, collapse the Pakatan government by enticing defections if you're so desperate to get control of Perak, but have the guts to face the people in new elections.'
Pakatan reps arrested, state secretariat blocked
FairMind : The cow-head protesters who almost brought the whole nation into chaos were not arrested but a photographer who was just doing his job was arrested. Isn't this similar to the reporter who held under ISA while the politician she covered got away scot-free? If this is not a clearest indication of the double standard of the despicable PDRM (police), I don't know what is!
K.J. Lim : "Dr Zambry and BN government are the people's choice." My foot. People voted their choice on March 8, 2008. That was the people's choice. If you dare, dissolve the Perak state assembly and let voters tell you their choice again.
Fairlady : Why create a fuss in the holy of Ramadan? You lost the majority so why not be patient and win it back in the next election? But I've lost my faith in Pakatan Rakyat and DAP after the Buah Pala issue. They could have done something but didn't.
Peace: Stop deceiving the rakyat by using the words 'people's choice, majority' because in Perak, the majority ask for fresh election. If you (BN) have the guts, then call for fresh elections!
Stephanie Yeap : I salute the Pakatan assemblymen for continuing to lead the frustrating fight to restore democracy in Perak. The right-minded people of Perak are behind you all the way. Bring on the general election and we will show to all of Malaysia that your present efforts are not in vain!
Sherman Wong : It's Pakatan that has no shame. If the situation is reversed and the court had ruled in favour of Pakatan and BN then refusing to give up, as Pakatan is doing, what would Pakatan say? As for the frogs, well, they are Pakatan frogs to start with. You chose them, you bear the consequences.
Ken: A shameful power grab by BN backed up by abusing the police and the judiciary. By all means, collapse the Pakatan government by enticing defections if you're so desperate to get control of Perak, but have the guts to face the people in new elections.
Fairness for all : BN is really shameless. Despite losing Perak to Pakatan with voters choosing Pakatan, they still insist on taking over the state illegally and claiming that BN is the peoples' choice. On what basis have they come to this conclusion?
Just because three greedy corrupted people were bought by them for millions? Well, the three shameless defectors do not represent the rest of Perak. They have sold their soul to the devil and will soon pay for it.
Martin Jalleh : It is a day when the Perak people will remember how the courts were cowed by a bunch of cowards under the leadership of Zambry Abd Kadir. He dared not confront the Pakatan Perak government of Nizar Jamaluddin in a state assembly but chooses to hide behind the show of force by the police.
Ikmal : I find it interesting that Nizar said it is a holy month and yet the police behaved in a high-handed manner. Nizar, you know it is a holy month - why provoke them in the first place? In fact, use your head and think. You know you will not be allowed in.
Why take a confrontational approach while you could have just convened the meeting at other places as you did under the tree? So-called decisions can still be made by you and your team wherever you are, as you did when meeting under the tree. So why take the confrontational approach and provoke the police? You actually wanted them to take action.
