The statement from the Keeper of the Rulers' Seal also said that 29 locations had been identified for the sighting throughout the country.
The locations are Pontian Kecil (Johor); Kampung Balik Batu Tanjung Bidara (Melaka); Pantai Aceh (Penang); Teluk Kemang (Negeri Sembilan); Bukit Melawati, Pulau Angsa, Bukit Jugra (Selangor); Kampung Pulau Sayak, Pemandangan Indah Langkawi, Menara Alor Setar (Kedah); Pantai Pasir Panjang, Manjong (Perak).
Also in the list are Bukit Besar Kuala Terengganu, Bukit Kemuning, Kemaman, Pulau Perhentian, Setiu (Terengganu); Bukit Peraksi Pasir Putih, Bukit Kampung Tembeling Kuala Krai, Menara Bangunan SEDC (Kelantan); Bukit Tanjong Batu Nenasi, Cameron Highlands, Bukit Pelindong, Kuantan (Pahang); Kuala Sungai Baru (Perlis); KL Tower; Putrajaya International Convention Centre, Tanjong Lubang Miri, Teluk Bandung Kuching, Tanjung Batu, Bintulu (Sarawak); Tanjung Dumpil, Menara Universiti Malaysia Sabah (Sabah).
