The wife of the Tengku Temenggong of Kelantan, Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Sultan Ismail Petra, has so far not filed her defence against the two applications filed by her husband demanding the return of RM1,112,250 owed by her and her return to his side.

He said that on Aug 2, the court had ordered Manohara to file her defence on the two applications filed by Tengku Fakhry against her within 14 days before the date of mention of the case on Oct 5.

He said they had sent a facsimile to Manohara's Syarie lawyer, Messrs Faiz Adnan & Co, to inform that they had not received a copy of their defence on both cases.

On Sept 9, the legal firm Messrs Fakrul Hisham Abdullah & Associates appointed by Manohara and her mother Daisy Fajarina in a RM105 million defamation suit filed by Tengku Fakhry, had discharged themselves as the solicitors for the duo.

In the civil case too, Manohara and Daisy had still not filed their defence to rebut the claims made by Tengku Fakhry, although the deadline to submit their defence had expired.
