Barisan Nasional candidate Isa Samad is said to be a very popular man in the Bagan Pinang state constituency, and if the events of this morning was anything to go by, maybe he is a bit too popular.

This resulted in the former cabinet minister and former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar, who is small in stature, being pushed in all directions.

Security men pushed aside

Chaos ensued when their security detail tried to push away those in the VIPs way, which saw even supporters with the words "Barisan Nasional security" on their vests being manhandled.

A human chain was formed to make way for the VIPs, but that appeared to do little to help the situation.

At one point, Isa broke away from Mohamad and made a short dash forward to escape the crowd before walking calmly again and readjusting his glasses.

No one appeared to be hurt during the commotion.
