'Wait for rakyat's court decision, Nizar'
'Based on what we saw in the VK Lingam tape case, it will be 3-2 against Pakatan MB Mohd Nizar Jamaludin. Sorry, YB Nizar. It would have been 5-0 for you if it was up to the rakyat.'
MB vs MB: Nizar's 11 judges application dismissed
Teh: Based on what we saw in the VK Lingam tape case, it will be 3-2 against Pakatan Rakyat MB Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin. Sorry, YB Nizar. It would have been 5-0 for you if it was up to the rakyat. So Nizar, wait for the rakyat's court decision.
Kgan: There is no way that Umno will allow the court to return the Perak government to Pakatan . Asking the opposition to get justice from Umno's court is like asking a Jew to get justice from Hitler's court.
The refusal to allow a 11 or even seven-judge panel and the appointment of judges who have ruled in favour of BN previously in the Perak fiasco says it all.
Koh Jen Yen: Bleh! Forget about getting a fair trial. Any verdict that favourable to Pakatan is just going to get overruled through a judicial review.
Like the previous High Court decision in favour of Nizar which was overturned by the appeals court. It shows that the courts are super-efficient for BN but for Pakatan.
Vikneswaran Munusamy: My predictions is that it will be 3-2 in favour of Nizar. Nizar will then dissolve the state assembly and call for a fresh elections. The result of the polls might favour any party.
Currently, Perak isn't productive. Keeping Perak at the current situation is baggage for BN. PM Najib Razak might just ‘give' Perak away and wait for the next general election. He will then boost BN's popularity by saying they have been ‘fair'.
P Dev Anand Pillai: Looking at the composition of the bench, it is a foregone conclusion that it will be what the BN wants as the Federal Court is akin to another ‘government-linked company'.
They are going to make the drafters of the federal constitution ie, the Reid Commission, look like fools. Article 72 of the constitution is very important - can matters of the houses of representatives be brought to a court of law if a dispute arises?
Note that in MP Gobind Singh Deo's case the court had stood by what Article 72 says but for Nizar it is overturned. The judges are carefully chosen to ensure that even if their decision looks ridiculous, it will not rock the boat.
They will not be too bothered about future cases as they will be retired by then. The answer is via the ballot box.
Mamboking: It's just a waste of time. You can try all you want Nizar, but you won't get anything. Just wait patiently for the next general election. Hopefully, the other Pakatan clowns can get their act together and rule the country then.
Azmil Tayeb: It has come to the intersection, and the conclusion is five and not 11 judges. The decision is not going to be righteous judgment. Remember that the judiciary is not independent and very pro-Najib Razak.
Even if Nizar loses the case, it will be a blessing for him to strengthen his case by having road shows to explain his case to all Perakians who voted him in. The ultimate truth will be there for them to understand.
Prepare the Perakians for the next general election and God-willing, BN will lose hands down. A corrupt BN government is what we have now. Much has been exposed by Pakatan on the massive amounts BN leaders have squandered.
So Pakatan better work on more of these cases and bring forth the evidence to implicate them further. Get all the big ‘buaya' into the net and reduce the ‘buaya' population. Now!
What's This Five 'top' judges? They are five top Umno judges. Their verdict will be very obvious. This hearing is just for show.
