Prime Minister Najib Razak is expected to make an important announcement to address the ongoing water and electricity supply woes in Sabah soon.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Dr Koh Tsu Koon said Najib and Works Minister Shaziman Abu Mansor were working on finding a speedy solution to address problems affecting the state.
"There will be short-term and long-term solutions for Sabah's water and electricity supply problems which are getting critical.
"When the time comes, he (Najib) will make a favourable announcement," he told reporters after meeting members of the Federation of Chinese Associations in Kota Kinabalu today.
Najib on two-day Sabah visit
Meanwhile, Najib arrived in Kota Kinabalu this evening for a two-day visit.
The special aircraft carrying the prime minister and wife Rosmah Mansor touched down at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport at 5.45pm.
Najib will open the Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) annual congress at a hotel here tonight.
Tomorrow, the prime minister is scheduled to open the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) annual congress at 1Borneo shopping mall and later attend a luncheon with Sabah Umno.
In the afternoon, Najib is scheduled to open the United Pasok Momogun Kadazandusun Murut Organisation (Upko) national convention 2009 at the Sabah Cultural Centre in Penampang before returning to Kuala Lumpur.
