Fire broke out at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office in Langkawi, damaging the store in the incident yesterday evening.

Langkawi Fire and Rescue Department chief Ishak Hashim said 16 firemen and two fire engines were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call at 7pm.

They took 10 minutes to control the fire which was blazing from the storeroom located on the first floor of the Langkawi Development Authority Complex here.
