Tamil Newspapers

All three Tamil dailies - Tamil Nesan, Makkal Osai and Malaysia Nanban - reported on a 22-year-old man being charged with murdering his mother in Johor.

Tamil Nesan also reported on sacked PPP leader T Murugiah questioning the Registrar of Societies for delaying his queries on party matters.

Makkal Osai also similarly carried the same Murugiah story. In addition, it also reported Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz as saying that lawyer VK Lingam's former secretary Jayanthi LG Naidu was not the key witness which the MACC was looking for.

In Malaysia Nanban , Padang Serai MP N Gobalakrishnan was quoted as saying that MIC should be investigated over its MIED scandal.
