Sabak Bernam MP's graft case set for April 26
The Shah Alam Sessions Court today fixed April 26 to hear the corruption case of Sabak Bernam's Umno member of parliament Abd Rahman Bakri who has been slapped with eight counts of making false claims totalling RM80,000 while he was the assemblyperson for Sungai Air Tawar, last year.

Judge Syafeera Mohd Said also fixed the same date for the trial of Abd Rahman's assistant Rosli Busro, 41, who is charged with abetment.
She set aside two weeks from that date for their trial.
On Nov 3, Abd Rahman, 44, had claimed trial when charged with eight counts of submitting false claims for constituency work for the Air Tawar state constituency between Jan 21 and Feb 12 2008 to the Sabak Bernam district office.
Abd Rahman and Rosli were released on RM30,000 and RM9,000 bail respectively pending their trial.
