Opposition parties have no hope of wresting power from BN in Sabah as the coalition has proven its ability to develop the state, Malacca Chief Minister Mohd Ali Rustam said.

"Sabah is progressing well. I think this is a warning sign for the opposition," he told reporters after calling on Chief Minister Musa Aman in Kota Kinabalu.

ALI RUSTAM He also said that Sabah had a long experience under the opposition's rule.

 

"Sabah's experience should serve as a good example to states in the peninsula," he said.

Mohd Ali, who is Umno supreme council member, also said that Umno was growing in strength in Sabah.

"I hope that there will be exchange of visits involving Umno leaders from both states so that we can share experience on how to serve the people better," he said.

On the Malaysian Games (Sukma) in Malacca, Mohd Ali said contingents can now inspect the preparation for the biennial games to familiarise themselves with the facilities provided.

The 13th Sukma will be held from June 10-19.
