'The days of giant corporations trampling over little people are now over. Enlightened management and non-invasive technology will rule the day.'
Villagers stall TNB demolishers
4thGPendatang: Good for you, dear citizens of Rawang new village. It's time we stand for our rights. The government had been bullying us for too long. They think we are sheep to be led to the slaughterhouse. Time to tell them we are the boss, not them.
Christ follower: Money talks. Who cares about rakyat as long as their pocket is filled Malaysia boleh . We must stand united to fight for our rights. We are not aliens from another world. This is our beloved country.
In the name of development, Indians were chased out from rubber estates. Where are they now? Who has taken over their land? The guy who masterminded all this is filthy rich but he cannot escape from God's judgement for the suffering of the poor.
Maha Yoni: I salute you, brave people of Rawang new village. The days of giant corporations trampling over little people are now over. Enlightened management and non-invasive technology will rule the day.
Lvbala: Without proper discussion and concern, the federal government looks like it is challenging the Pakatan Rakyat state government.
The 1Malaysia concept is only a celebration to blind the rakyat's eyes. They sing, dance, make movies, advertisements, contests and many more by the name of 1Malaysia. Middle-men are the ones who will come up with proposals on 1Malaysia and they will take their cuts on the deals done.
DPM: Pakatan walkout disrespectful to Agong
Sabahan: Asking His Royal Highness the Agong to read out a speech which he has never seen, let alone approved, is a mark of greater disrespect to me. BN is taking advantage of the monarchy to heap praises on themselves. Orang Melayu sendiri tak menghormati Raja Melayu. Memalukan .
Dood: The walkout is considered disrespect to the king? Why not charge every single opposition member of parliament with sedition then? Really, Umno is quite shameless in exploiting every single bit of political mileage they can squeeze out of an incident, regardless of whether it makes sense or not.
Rayfire: Can anyone confirm who the scriptwriter was for the Agong? By the way, the advice was not meant only for Pakatan MPs - it also applies to BN's ‘angels'.
As for Pakatan, I think now is the time to discuss real pressing issues of great importance. Please prioritise issues and tackle those that are urgent and of national interest first. No more comedy shows. Show us, the rakyat, that you are worthy of being fine MPs.
As for the independent goons, please let them be. Don't get upset with their scare tactics and intimidation, because they are not worth it. Stay focussed, refrain from causing discomfort in the Dewan Rakyat. We, the rakyat, are still evaluating your competence in leading us after next general election.
Submit your forms, Rais tells Namewee
KC: I know deep down that his movie will be released without sponsorship from the National Film Development Corporation (Finas). Way to go. Let it all out so that the world can really know Malaysia ‘Truly Asia' slogan. If there are not enough funds, the public will support the movie.
Pgkia: Namewee, time and again, you have made great clips on the true Malaysian life. I am sure that if you ask the public to fund your films, you will be able to forget about applying for the grant. The public will definitely support a talent like you. It's the government that doesn't know how to appreciate such talents.
Josh316: I really like this! If the grant is given, Namewee wins. If it wasn't given, this public relation stunt scores some points for proving how unMalaysian our government is. Either way Namewee wins!
Sedition trial: 'Transcript was incomplete'
Watchman: The number of police reports against Karpal Singh is irrelevant to the case. This is not an election, for God's sake. What is relevant is the question as to whether Karpal is guilty of sedition or not.
Even if 30 million Malaysians lodge reports, the judge must look at the facts and not be swayed by the number of people who are 'annoyed' and lodged reports. Our courts are really turning into circuses.
Conteng: Intention to sue isn't as severe as intention to kill. What seditious act has been committed? By stating the truth and the rule of law? Get your priorities right.
Chuath: The reports were made because there was no righteous person who would stand up to uphold the law and to clarify that it was legal for Karpal to take the sultan to court and that citizens should allow justice to take its course.
Where have all the good men gone?
Chong Wei to Rosmah: 'Saya mahu main'
Changeagent: What kind of prime minister would insinuate inappropriate sexual jokes between his own wife with another man? This kind of humour is highly offensive to the general population, and is very unbecoming for the PM.
On another note, Rosmah Mansor should really not try to distract LCW (Lee Chong Wei) before every match he plays by making him call her. There are a lot of pre-match preparations involved, and the last thing he needs is to talk to someone who cannot add any technical value or opponent insights to his game strategy.
ONG: Such sense of humour is normally reserved for the pub when the patrons have had one drink too many. It is only in Boleh-land Malaysia where we can witness such an exhibition of low-class pub humour being performed openly by a prime minister, a member of his cabinet and the PM's wife at a public function.
Singa Pura Pura: The victory belongs, first, to the protagonist himself, and, second, to all Malaysians who love and follow the game of badminton. Politicians and other opportunists should find their heroes in another court, or bed. Politics stain the game like flavine on gauze.
