'I was asked to link 'First Couple' to Altantuya murder'

Habib RAK: Its really pathetic that Zulkifli Noordin has sunk so low. He is now talking rubbish. What is relevant are the facts. Altantuya Shaariibuu was murdered in the most cruel manner. Two police officers who took orders did the execution. So who are the people who gave the orders?

PM Najib Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor are implicated because there is an alleged link. However, this link is not allowed to be questioned in court or anywhere. Why?

Singa Pura Pura: One might have been asked ‘to link'. ‘To link' is not ‘to lie'. If there is evidence ‘to link', then ‘linking' is not ‘lying'. But, if in spite of available evidence, one fails ‘to link' then that amounts to ‘lying' by way of concealment of facts.

In other words, it is Islamic ‘to link' where there is evidence, and un-Islamic ‘not to link' where there is evidence linking an act or outcome to a person.

There are two famous proverbs but they probably do not apply here: 1) It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God; and 2) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Lim Chong Leong: Zul thinks he is a hero by exposing this information. Doesn't he know that it was Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri's best defence to cast reasonable doubt into the prosecution case against his client and the evidence was best pointing at Najib and Rosmah?

By refusing to implicate PM Najib and his wife with available evidence, and therefore raise reasonable doubt against Azilah's case, he has breached his professional duty to his client. He chose to be Najib's lapdog instead, and because of that, Azilah awaits execution.

Christine Yong: Who are these people like Zulkifli Noordin speak such nonsense now? They should be investigated for not having disclosed the facts when it first happened.

It's best is to investigate them whatever position they are in, instead of listening to frogs whose words cannot be trusted. This person has an integrity problem. Subject him to punishment and put him through a lie detector!

Kgen: What relevance is this to Parliament? Is Parliament a platform to make unsubstantiated allegations and wild personal attacks? Are the frogs who left PKR trying to show their worth to BN to justify their price?

Chumma: It looks like our august House has become more like a ceramah platform. Our parliamentarians are more concerned about personal and unwanted issues rather than bringing up national issues concerning the rakyat who voted them in. What a shame.

KSM: We are an educated lot. Please, Zul, don't insult the people's intelligence. If what you are saying is all heresay, why should anyone listen? Anybody can make wild accusations. Does not his religion forbid him to do so? Or is Zul once again bending his religious rules?

Ichigo: There are enough statutory declarations (SDs) on this case, which have so far been ignored. Besides you were just a lawyer to one of the accused. What is the good of your SD that can implicate the First Couple? Tell us, who was the third party?

For all you know, it might point to power tussle in the ruling party itself. If I recall correctly, someone's wife shouted that her husband was not interested to be the PM.

Dingy: Zahrain Mohd Hashim's revelations of BN MPs who allegedly agreed to defect became sensational news in the media. Now, it's Zul's turn to create sensational news.

He has, however, rekindled interest in the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder, where the judge and prosecutors deemed the motive for - and identity of the one who directed - the murder were deemed as irrelevant.

Mohd: Zul kau cuba jawab ni pulak. Kau memang pengkhianat: "Tertuduh kedua kes pembunuhan wanita Mongolia Altantuya Shaariibuu memberitahu Mahkamah Tinggi Shah Alam bahawa dia adalah sekadar " kambing hitam yang harus dikorbankan" untuk melindungi rancangan dan niat mereka yang tidak berada dalam mahkamah ini untuk menghadapi pertuduhan, kata Koperal Sirul Azhar Umar.

Isana: These are all orchestrated by the frogs' master, first was Zahrain who talked about the attempted Sept 16 takeover (by attacking Anwar Ibrahim). Now Zul talked about Altantuya (by defending the PM and his wife). Next, maybe Tan Tee Beng will attack Lim Guan Eng and then Mohsin Fadzli Samsuri against PAS.

It is a well-orchestrated and coordinated attack on Anwar and Pakatan.

Disgusted: They (BN) are creating a third force by using the Independents. Most of the revelations seem to be bizarre to the point of being ridiculous and leeway is given by the BN-compliant speaker for them to articulate such rubbish during valuable Parliament time when real issues concerning the rakyat seem to be considered not important and prevented by speaker from being discussed or debated.

My second theory is that there are some forces within Umno which are covertly working to overthrow Najib as he did to Pak Lah. They could be collaborating with these Independent MPs to embarrass Najib. These forces also consist of NGOs which promote ‘Ketuanan Melayu' and Utusan Malaysia .

This also accounts for the recent outburst by the police chief against some powerful third party which he said could be "pihak politik" (politicians) or "orang-orang tertentu" (certain individuals), who are giving orders to people below him.

Cala: Zulkifli Noordin is a strange guy. He does not look like a credible person to me. Why? A normal person would lodge a police report against someone whom he believes has committed a crime. To do that, he must have evidence on the nature of crime committed by that person. If he has no evidence, no amount of stories would make up a case.

Tkc: Just when we think we have reached a low point, we go even lower. First there were police reports, then statutory declarations, and now parliamentarians using the immunity of the august House to spew venom and make wild allegations. If there is a contest for cowardice, Zulkifli is the champion.

Doc: Is Zul sucking up to Najib or Rosmah? Then again Najib and Rosmah are trying to avoid the Altantuya issue and desperately hoping it will die off naturally, so only a fool will try to bring up the topic and that too trying to act like he was acting in the best interest of the ‘First Couple'. With friends like Zul, I don't think the ‘First Couple' will need enemies.

Artchan: The more Zul speaks, the more unbelievable he becomes. Name the third party. If it is Anwar, now is the time to nail him. If it is someone in Umno, Najib would be mighty pleased with you, and might even make you his deputy.

Speak the truth and shame the devil. Tell the whole world who the third party is.

Perak Boleh: The 'little' singh (Gobind Singh Deo) was suspended for mentioning 'Altantuya' in Parliament House last year. What did the speaker do this time?

I advise you, Zulkifli, report the bribe to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission if what you say is the truth.
