Malaysia's industrial output rose 6.9 percent in July from a year ago and rebounded 10.4 percent from June due to growth in the manufacturing, mining and electricity sectors, the Department of Statistics said Monday.
The three sectors grew 8.1 percent, 4.6 percent and 0.1 percent respectively on a yearly basis, the department said in a statement.
On a monthly basis, the manufacturing sector rose 11.7 percent with mining up 9.7 percent and electricity 0.9 percent higher.
