200 Tmn Tunku Putra PKR branch members quit
Nearly 200 PKR members from the Taman Tunku Putra branch in Kulim, Kedah, quit the party en masse today, claiming they had lost confidence in the party's leadership.
The group, headed by G Thanagaran, said they were forming a new MIC branch for the Kampung Padang Buluh-Padang Tembak in the Kulim-Bandar Baharu area.

Thanagaran said PKR had failed to honour its promise made during the 12th general election.
He also said that it was much easier to obtain help from Kulim-Bandar Baharu Barisan Nasional chairman Abdul Aziz Sheikh Fadzir than from Kulim assemblyman Lim Soo Nee of PKR who is also a state executive councillor.
